UTEX: Soil + seawater

The basic garden-type soilwater with pasteurized, filtered seawater substituted for distilled water. For some marine and brackish-water algae requiring salinities less than 30 ppt, glass-distilled water and pasteurized, filtered seawater (according to UTEX) are combined prior to steaming, such that 1/2-soil+seawater contains seawater combined with distilled water 1:1, 1/3-soil+seawater contains seawater combined with distilled water 1:2, etc.
